2012 New year Resolution!

In the blink of eyes, it's going to be Year 2012, and finally, my 4th year in huayi secondary school.
Time pass, freaking fast. i mean seriously yeah.
12 months ago, i'm still a secondary three student, getting used to my new class 3E2, getting used to the subjects, getting used to many things which make us all unhappy etc.
But, i really do hope that we could all end 2012 happily, without any worries nor those unhappy stuffs we have all encountered. New year ; let's really try to forget everything we do not want to remember (sad/unhappy/angry memories!)

To all my friends and people whom i know, wish you guys have a good and happy last day of the year, and all the best for your future!
and also, i would like to say that friends are the people in life that we can trust and enjoy life with, i'm sure everybody treat their friends as one of the their really important person, whether anot they have their own boyfriend/girlfriend, even though sometimes things might get wrong and misunderstanding resulting in conflict among friends, in the end of the day, we are still friends.
Personally, i would think that if you think you want to be in good term with others, you yourself should also do some changes to yourself to get into the good term with others. (friendship is never a one way thing, it's a two-way thing which we ourselves and others must make an effort to maintain it.)
and, i think trusting in friends is one thing that maintain the friendship.
I know we would always think that there will be a real friend who stand by your side, and friend who walks in when you are only in good condition. But think, there would surely be someone to share your feelings.
Look around and see who are the people you can trust, there would surely be.

Secondly, i would think that sometimes friends might say stuffs that makes us feel offended etc, but then think, if we didn't do it well or doing it as what we like (even though it's wrong, like for example, your friend smoke but you advised that friend not to smoke cos it's harmful to our body, your friend might not like it and will feel offended but as a friend, you cant left your friend to die off right?) So yeah, it's the same meaning/reason why they commented on things that you should make changes to yourself etc, it's like saving you for the goodness sake. (even if you think it's alrdy okay, but to others, that's just sign of arrogant, making everybody's life suffer, that's a selfish thought of you.)
and i think some things, you know that some people are just joking with their words, or even know their personality is just this, you can don't take serious about these words, it's like just in joking manner of suan-ing.
People had make themselves to change their mindset etc to suit your thinking, you yourself should make a change in your mindset to suit others' thinking. This is like a basic courtesy of friend and human relationship i would think. We don't just live ourselves by the forest or what, somemore this is a city, it's filled with people that could be all sort of people around. Different personality, different mindset, different interest, different attitude.

地球不是为你而转的；相仿的，凡是什么事我们也都要想想其他人的感受。

and lastly, respect people, people would respect you. If you do things that people cannot understand why the hell you do that or the ways of doing a thing well isn't correct, you don't deserve to earn the respect of other people. Well, you might say that other people did not respect you first, yes, but you should think about it yourself why we do that. Yeah, maybe it's other people who do wrong first, but at least, respect someone who is older than you and have live longer than you in this earth, they know more things than you for freaking sake.

okay, i think it's obvious who i'm talking about, i'm not badmouthing that person or anyone.
I thought time would like at least make some things to cool down, but it seems like it's not.
okay, i wouldn't talk much about this.

So back to the topic, New year resolution! :D
I shall make a list, oh yeah~~

Do well for 2012 GCE O LEVEL - aiming : A1 for chinese, A-maths, e-maths (this is definitely a MUST FOR ME, if not i can really kill myself!!!) , A2 for physics (i think i aim too high ._. but if i aim low i sure get lower~), B3 for combined humanities (need to diedie memorise), B3 for English (LOL, i aim too high also, but i think i aim low i will get lower! D: ), B3 for Chemistry (aim too high...) and last art... i don't know, really don't know cos i don't know if i can make a good coursework for the paper 1, and the painting for paper 2 D:
Improving my playing skills - my tone, my techniques, sight-reading skills, aural skills too~ for these 3 years of new year resolution , i been putting this in my list, LOL
Hoping nothing goes wrong in my life, whether is it school, band or friendship~ (really hope so, though it's hard larh~)
Anyone in my life (meaning people who i know) to be healthy and safe :)

Gosh, 2011 is ending soon, next year 4E2'12, OMG seriously time pass so damn freaking fast larh!!!!

Bakuman ; rants

today's 24 DECEMBER , totally wow, gonna be near to school reopen = oh damn fking shyt! :/
I still left english and chemistry, unfortunately. and we're going to be like secondary four, totally not looking forward to. :(
suddenly, i don't want to graduate so fast, meaning i have to focus more on studies for many months, and might end up neglect practicing (i hope i can keep up with it, like study few hours, rest time practice! *even it's like 10 minutes*) and i will badly miss the band :( honestly speaking.
But part of me want to graduate and get into the course i want. ironic enough.
mostly likely, i wouldn't be choosing JC, but i still hope to get good results since the course i want need like quite good score (i always get 20 for L1R5 :X).
or consider NAFA? HAHA joking my father might killed me. ._. (plus, i don't have the confident that... sigh)

oh yeah, new list to my anime cum manga - BAKUMAN!
I totally like this anime/manga (but i love KHR & nodame cantabile more :P ) and some characters inside.
- Fukuda Shinta! (Actually, he reminds me of Squalo, since they both have average long hair *though squalo has damn long hair*So yeah, :P)
- Niizuma Eiji! (the most adorable one! I LOVE HIM!!! he's damn cute and funny! *playing with the feather dust* )
- Aoki Yuriko! (She's elegant, wow and another thing is cos Fukuda X Aoki! i totally shipped them! :P and she's cute, found her abit like Chrome *KHR*, just that chrome is more shy~)

But nevertheless, i still look forward to the anime part :)

Helloo, it been a long time since i visit here, oh yeah.
Anyway, some things to share, to liven my this dead blog too :)

Masato Honda, this guy is quite a beast.
He's like rep. the whole woodwind section (flute, Bb clarinet, alto/soprano/baritone/tenor saxophone ) + trombone and trumpet. A full list of winds instrument. (with the exception of french horn, tuba and eupho LOL) oh ya, and EWI too.
But personally, i would love his alto sax. tone the best :D and maybe baritone sax. too but i think his tone isn't that great as alto sax. , as for soprano sax., this performance he's using metal mouthpiece so it's quite difficult to judge ._. , but during T-square time when he use soprano sax for 'Truth' , his tone is quite nice too. :)

as for other instruments, i wouldn't say anything comment LOLL.
but clarinet doesn't sound like clarinet ._. (more like sax. in my own opinion) , i can't see properly if he's using metal mouthpiece or what.

oh ya, mr tan is like going to let us play 'truth'! :O (not sure he will bring it anot LOLL)
quite nice hahas! but sax. got two solos i think, if i'm not wrong. (sax. pretty important!)

mental illness

After many days (or rather, weeks) of getting the feeling of emo-ness and feel so low self-esteem, i feel that i got some mental illness (like depression, *immediately google it to find some ways to cure*) and i think i'm such a bitch (bitching around etc, okay you guys ignored this.)
is like, there's nothing for me to enjoy and nothing can really make me feel so damn happy, :O
argh, anyone have some tips to get rid of this feeling?
and weird thing is, i can't even find any source of it, :(

maybe is my result, but actually, this time i was like quite calm (except when i'm so angry @ my chinese marks LOL, but anyway, i surrender, i shall work harder next year!) etc.
and btw, i know it's not PMS also -.- , but maybe moodswing (too long i think, i tot it only last for days.)
and i'm like some 宅女 :/ who keep glue on my laptop. ZZZ, though there's nothing i can play also leh.
and many other few complicated feelings of low self-esteem, sensitiveness etc.

Exam is officially over :)
finally, for past few weeks, i have been studying like mad (mugging?), and super duper stress.
Yeah, and finally over yet, i don't feel like it's over. Important ones are the O level.

For this few days, i have been thinking about this, are we really fated to be the ones that work for money, die hard for money, and yet, in the end of our life, we didn't get anything?

We are all greedy, all the humans are, i mean in general.
If there's no greed, there wouldn't be any cases of crime like robbery etc.
If there's no greed, this wouldn't be a world of business.
If there's no greed, no. of living populations (animals, humans) will be equal.
If there's no greed, we wouldn't have developed countries.
If there's no greed, human beings, are just part of the wild, with animals.

Regarding the first sentence, i'm not saying that we will all be 'failures'. But, sometimes, why are we fighting each other? why are we having this kind of environmental problems? why are we all facing the problem of life? who create this life? Few questions, yet many answers, yeah that's the power of human beings.
We have the ability to talk, we have the ability to think and work it out, we have the ability of discover new things.
Even in the old times, people face the same thing as us perhaps, maybe the history had once again repeat itself.
Life, cannot be said by words then, not even a single language of this world.
A short 4-words yet the long meaning.
Fate, also cannot be explained, time is just... playing a prank on us.
Miracle, we don't know when is it going to happen, we just believe in, maybe for some of us.

To change our destiny, we need courage... which is so hard to even have the mind of able to overcome this fear.

这几天真是非常难熬的，伤风，感冒，咳嗽...
而状况也不是太好，脑子里一片混乱，简直就快疯了！
人生就是这样，我们一天一天的熬过去，即使那天的心情开朗或是糟糕，一整天，我们过了，无法再倒流昨天，来改变昨天的事。

；何必管成绩呢？
人家说，成绩并不是最重要，重要的是，你要体会那整个过程，享受在学习的时间。
但，对我们这些普通老百姓来说，成绩就是一份政名；证明你可以做到，并且利用这门学艺或知识来回归社会；那些所谓的‘失败者’；就是这个社会的‘败类’，让人瞧不起。
成绩只是一种数字，有些事情，无论你再这么勉强地想要套出几个分数等等，有些事，都应该是天意。

就像前几天，其实也只是昨天，我一大清早地从我温暖的床醒来，喉咙感到一阵镇痛，嘴巴超级干，几乎想喝超级多的水（我平时其实也喝非常少量的水）。后来，我也匆匆忙忙地收拾书包（前天因为懒惰而等到隔天的早上才收拾~），几乎忘了带许多东西（像是我的作业等等~），然后就上了老爸的车到学校（那天几乎是下雨，或是我拿超多书到学校的~）。
而我也记得昨天，我做了一件令我深深的感到难以相信我自己会做这么卑鄙的事情。吼，我真的必须要检讨一下自己。（其实，我昨晚就一直再想这件事，惭愧到极点了！！！）
就是老师就给我们的作业，把剪报贴在稿子，然后交上去，就可以拿到格外的分数加到我们最近的小测验，我的剪报几乎是落在家里的一个孤单的角落，不懂是跑到哪里，一时地想要拿到那个分数来拉高我这次在华文测验考得并不是太理想的成绩，就借另一位同学的报纸，剪出那章报道。
虽然那位同学很好心地给我那份报纸，说她自己不需要加分，我的良心还是非常地过意不去，最后我还是把那张剪报还给她，自己就没有交上去了。当然，这就表示我没有加分的机会，但是，如果我自私地拿这份报纸而用我的名义交上去，拿到分数，自己就会一直活在惭愧与‘痛恨自己为什么我为了拿到这个小小的加分就显使这么连我自己也讨厌的一面啊’的之间。
既然昨天不是我的日子，就别和老天作对吧。

而这就真的让我想通一些事情，在加上刚才在看《少年文摘》时，读了许多小作文，而有些文章，令人感性，我还夸张地流下几滴泪。（真的是....太夸张的啦！！！）
不过，说真的，里面的文章是一极棒，多数都可能是成功之路的故事，或是生活上的点点滴滴等等。
还有，最近我也要看完了九把刀的作品《那些年，我们一起追的女孩》（朋友推荐的），而在九把刀的爱情系列，我也非常喜欢他的《那年，二哥哥很想念你》~
然后我也看了《莎拉的锁匙》的一小部分。
现在考试要到了，我还在看书，真是找死！（其实，我也只是在休息时或读到累的时候才读～）

在这个年终考试中，无论我拿到什么样的成绩，我都会试着去接受它，如果不好的话（尤其是华文），我也会对自己说，“因为我的骄傲而荒废了它，下次再努力吧！”

在这几个星期，有许多事情在我的心里藏了很久，我的未来... 和现在的情况。

在为我的年终考试复习华文时（我也只是在做华文TYS~），看到了一篇文章。

那篇文章述讲怎么样可以接近完美意义的人生，就想起这些星期（或这几个月来说）一直烦恼的课题。

最近，许多事情几乎令我不满意，可能我太要求很好的成绩，但这没有在我的能力下可以完成的。就像我在推特所说：Perharps, I'm a perfectionist who want to do everything well, but my strength doesn't allow me to do it.
我的华语也渐渐地退步了，我发现，我已经很难再跟上去。
我也不知道为何会到这样的地步，我不知道．．．
真希望我可以把所有事情都想通，脑海里一片混乱～！

而且，我很像什么事情都做不好，也没有什么好的发挥点在我的身上，以后也不懂也当什么，做怎样的工作...
我也没有钱读我所要读的行业，就算有钱，父母也不让的啦。
还有，我什么都不确定，没有什么实际的人生目标等等...

我只希望；可以过着快乐的人生，把全部烦脑抛开— 这算是在逃避现实吗？
希望可以离开这个城市，到地球另一个角落，让我好好地放下所有在城市的烦恼而想想我的未来。
可是，这只是一个假如，并不是真的可以实现在现实的。

我太贪心，太注重完美了。

I wanted to break record of not switching on laptop for 2/3 weeks, but seems like i can't cos i need to research ._.

anyway, today's band photo-taking! :)

But, this time, sec 4s seniors only quite a few came :( [the 'slacker' club didn't come~ :( ]

NOT FULL BAND! sigh, but still, we took the photo.

The last time they wear this band uniform, etc. Sigh, now's like not really very 热闹 anymore!

Then the sec ones joined in (usually, they would have senior and junior photo-taking, but this year... the juniors are lesser hence, jiu combined lorh.)

Band is getting smaller, standard is lower, i mean like we all know ourselves too.

But still, must MUST MUST practice hard and trained them before i graduate next year. (so fast :( 4 years in hycb pass fast i guess..)

and the feeling of everybody playing it well and together is nice (Y)

After exam, i'm gonna make time to practice more!

Now is like, no much time to practice ._. PROJECTS,STUDIES,LESSONS filling my everyday life.

i wish i was a crazy person, so i can get into mental hospital and waste my time there, at least i'm happy.

i deleted my previous post :) since i was like blabbering that day... blahblahblah. (but this is really how i feel larh.)

wanted to run this morning, but i was too tired to wake up ._.

exactly 4 weeks to english paper 1, GG max.

and i got english enrichment class from mr shoon, with 4 other ppl (chiaowen, choonhiang, minghong and yishao?)

lol, notice that 4 (including me) person are from band, LAWLS.

but i decided, i'm going to work hard for my languages!

and maths (two math), art, humanities (?? though i think i will get quite a low mark for that.)

sciences, sigh physic only bah, i never once understand chem -.-

but my physic isn't good too, maybe i should drop to combined science so i can focus on other subjects.

and during this month or last month, if i do something that offend you etc, i'm really truly sorry.

Because, i think i don't even know what i'm doing for this past few months ._.

Sounds like zombie. lol, and randomly wandering around....

有时，老天爷是真的在跟我们开玩笑，只是我们不会觉得好笑...

This holiday is coming to an end, :( sighh.
Today's the second last day, i left my CHEM TYS :X and workbook, lucky chem lesson on tuesday!
So yeah, i have time to do :)
Do finish all the e-learning now, and spend 1 hour + practice today.
Recently, found that i have no time to practice :X getting busier, and also project stuffs etc. sigh, why always when it comes to project, my class have to kenna?
last year also, alot of projects (chinese research project) are given to 2E1... then this year, science projects given to 3E2.... :(
But anyway, at least those projects, some were quite okay (like chinese de, i rmb i even typed out a proposal last minute ._. but still, my group managed to get quite a good result :P *think win the best group there LOLL* )

oh yeah, i haven do finish art! i only draw the first object of my first hand observation! omg die!

I actually wiki-ed the language of flowers, just to find out what's the language（花语）for orchid, since this EOY art de theme is orchid with drawing our choosen artist's reference de style etc.
Learnt my lesson last MYE and now i start to research well. ._.
So far, do my first hand observation (1st one only! :X)
Anyway, i find these languages of each flowers all around the world is meaningful and somehow amazing, and it's good to know some common flowers' language hahas :P

E-learning, sick like hell.

I'm officially sick, god damn flu, cough, sore throat.
i only left the high fever (which i don't wish to have it.) and i can really stay at home all day.
It's holiday and yet i'm sick, worst ever when you're having holiday and you're sick.
But this time is not really a holiday cos we still need to go back to school for lessons and band (but out of 2 days of band, i can only come for one day cos thursday is PACKED WITH LESSON. Physics first, then geog, then Social studies. CRAZY OR WHAT!)

Shall end here and continue my work.
Still currently doing my first E-learning homework which is SS and english.

Goal.

Goal in my life:
After like being disconnected from the world for like quite 2 days almost. (except twitter know where am i)
I just realised, for things (everything i guess) to be done perfectly and satisfied yourself, what we need to have is the techniques/strategies, concentration and most importantly - our own heart, whether we want it anot.
Maybe that's why, i still failed.

Though i love music, i don't have the concentration etc nowadays, maybe cos being demoralised by my own tone colour and quality.
But again, thinking back, i have been hesitated in taking up this path of life towards the future, the unsure-ness of my own heart makes me if think first before i tell myself: can i really do this? can i?
First, i'm afraid of disappointing my parents, truthfully speaking. I know they have been a considerate parents of giving me spaces and still give me the freedom of what i love to do even though they dislike what i'm doing now.
Secondly, i myself actually think that even if i take music as a career, how will it be? though this is what i want, what i love to do, but i myself, i'm doubting myself whether i can do it anot. It's like you better do it and be the best if not you will failed badly.
Thirdly, even though i once say i don't care what other people think of me or my actions, i still care. Esp my siblings, they are like keep on demoralising me much, and sometimes i really think i cannot do it.

Sigh, things are getting harder, and i have also decide on what i want to do beside music.
Maybe working in studio is not bad, or maybe i should take up other skills etc.
But i know i myself i can't ever do those sciences jobs.

In the first place, i have no aims and i just see what i can do whenever things goes wrong.
Maybe, no planning at first is a wrong starting.
Maybe, right now, i'm too tired and saying some rubbish stuffs. (is really physically tired, note here.)
shall go sleep :)
So in the end, i have not even mention one thing about my personal goal.

Anyway, some things i want to accomplish after O level (mind you, that's next year -.-), or even during the period from this year to next year.
- Buy clarinet accessories~, mouthpiece and ligature.
- Work after O level for the sake of my own pocket money and clarinet!
- Lose weight to hmm... 43kg? at least get rid of my fats in stomach LOLLL~ (so i can grow taller)
- Improve on my tone quality and able to at least modify my reed better. (i think cos i always modify until so suckish that's why :X)
- Relearn music theory, seriously by 2 months. (like those theory from grade 1-4/5~!)
- more things which i can't think of it now.

I post too much 'life' posts nowadays.

One day, i would love to go other country without my parents.

Wished to go Japan, London, Paris, Venice (Italy)!

One day, i would want to go on a vacation, with no worries.

For the last three countries, i think i will need alot of improvement in english duh, is like ._.
Now, i start to understand some things here and there in life, not everything is see as what we see, is like when you see something, you thought it was like this, but in the actual fact, it was another way round.
We all have worries, we all have our problems, but one day, we will either solve it or just give up, then things will start to change.

Life here in singapore, is stressful for every single person.
Everyday, adults worrying about money, they work for their family or themselves - working like mad from morning till night, for the sake of this thing call money.
Everyday, young adults worrying about the new environment, how they going to get used to the new working environment, working for money, stressful about the work load and maybe studies in the sense.
Everyday, Students are troubled with school work, studies, relationship problem with people (friendship/relationship) and in the end, become a whole thing call STRESS, and that's how we start to feel emo and doing some silly stuffs. But again, what's the main cause of this whole situation? It's called the MONEY.
We study for our own knowledge, and work for people using our knowledge and earned money for living, yeah this is like of course.
But it has really turned us all into zombies maybe, for people who can't cope and stuffs like that.
We all wanted to get out of this world, going to somewhere that nobody knows us, nobody know where we from.
However, as come back from the 'somewhere', life still goes on and we still suffered anyway, but things are getting easier if you think it in a positive way.
Appreciate the people around us, human beings are the most luckiest creature in this world.
We have brains to think, mouth to talk, eyes to see ; Animal creatures maybe only have a mouth to make noise, eyes to see their own species and us (meaning tourists), maybe they have brains (meaning own thinking) but they are unable to do like what we do.

Treasure your time, from young to old, whether it's painful or happy times ; be thankful that our life is full of problems, because these problems are the ones that shaped us in the future, determine our future, and believe god wouldn't give you problems that cannot be solved :)

For the next few days = SHIOK!
Next week, 4 days of holiday = 1 day of schooling! :D
But that day is wednesday which i have like test on that day also ._.
Then next next week holiday = like NO HOLIDAY.
Booked for Thursday and Friday for Geog make-up lesson.
Then I think SS also need one day to have lesson too ._.
Physic also i think, Mdm yeo want us to come back for our practical (?) and dynamic test?!
And we still haven confirm if holiday which day got band, NEXT WEEK IS LIKE NO BAND :(
God, seriously.
and after EOY, hell starts with 2 weeks (or 1 week?) of extra lessons on holiday, everyday i guess, like normal timetable for us?

Been so disappointed with myself, now that my tone is like... sigh.

Sigh, alot of things happening right now, all conflicts, problems...
Maybe looks like i'm in the outsider view.

In my opinion, i think don't blame yourself for other people's mistake.
It's their own attitude, you have no wrong.
and don't give up so easily, since they have hand it over, they believe you can do it.
Though we all know it's tough to carry all the responsibility and the duty, but when this kind of thing happen, it's not your fault.
There's no need for you to give up, if you give up, meaning you have been defeat by all these stress!
and other people start to talk more about it, you wouldn't want it too right?
also, please think for the sake of the whole picture, the whole situation, right now, you're only thinking about a small part of it, think of the consequences, we're a team, we're all trying our best to be strong and not to let people who have faith in us disappointed. We're one big family, everybody is cheering you up,
I hope you read this, please don't say i'm nosy or what, but we're actually all worrying about you, same for your friends, they know you're in bad mood, they're just trying to cheer up you.
Cool down first, think THRICE ( and more more more!) and have a cool mind.

Btw let me say something first to the other person: if you think you have been treated badly or being biased to you, please firstly think of other ppl about your attitude, i may not know the whole situation, but you're making everybody's life difficult, please be considerate and be discipline enough to know why we do that. Though now is like very 轻松,that doesn't mean you can do this or do that. and warning you first btw, your attitude cannot survive long in this society, better change it than regretting later and you know the consequences soon after you stepped into higher education or the work industry.

This week has been a VERY-VERY NORMAL WEEK, nothing exciting happen except some BIGBIGBIG NEWS.

Sigh, but though seems like alot of things are normal, there're problem there and here.

There're some things, it's better not to say anything than saying things.

Anyway, i feel my tone so suckish :( and recently also feel breathless, damn >.<

Sometimes, i wonder if i die, what's the feeling?
Is it like my brain died off then i can't feel anything, blahblahblah, then i'm either at the heaven or hell?
Or just at the last moment of closing your eyes, there's a glimpse of my own life story from young to old?
and if i died, when i reborn, how am i going to know it? :O

okay, people don't get me wrong, i'm just curious, not trying to kill myself duh. (why the hell i would? seriously, people who gave up on themselves by suiciding is plainly dumb, though there're some things which seems to be difficult to solve, as the word suggest, if it's a problem, there's always a solution, it's like you're doing an exam paper.)

A random post i just want to say something.
These few days, i have been thinking how dumb am i to have be stress/sad/angry over these things i have been saying.
I will just let the nature take course and wait for nice show to watch.
Life is just too short to have all the emotions letting out at one go but somehow, we can do it. (wth am i saying? LOL)

Enjoy my life before my story of life ends.
I shall do what i want to do and what i love to do.
I don't care how much times i fail, but keep on believing perhaps.
No point clinging on the old past, just start anew bah.

by the way, next time must go to the bukit timah railway station again with more people! :)
I love the scenery and though we (chiaowen, siying and me) walk until we're far from the civilization (tired!), but it's fun! :)

just feel as if nobody can understand me, even my own parents.

Feel so disappointed, why am i even born in the first place?

I cannot do anything well, everything i do is like... always not up to the standard.

Even my studies, i don't know what to do and keep on disappoint them.

but why can they just at least let me do what i really love to do....

even if i work harder, but.... the result is still the same.

Then if i didn't work harder, i disappointed them and ...

i want to be better, but after many failures, i have no confidence anymore.

Though i know there're people who are really worst than me, but still...

I think i haven post 2011's all-japan competition yet, but anyway i like this.

Whole day was out at outside, performing etc.
Firstly, reach band room, then we warmed up and pack the stands into samuel's DAMN GOOD luggage (really thanks :P your bag super zai (Y) )
after that bused there with a super damn small bus, with only woodwinds (clarinet & flute mainly, plus some sec 1s)~
miracle-ly, woodwind bus reach first. (usually, is brass de bus reach then we reach, even if we go at the same time!)
Then blahblahblah, wait for the brass ppl come, then we tune abit, then brass come etc, start tuning and listen to our sound.
okay, abit .... @ performance.
Sigh :( the tuning was like very out, esp abba gold and i think el bimbo (last chord, 1st clarinetists clash with others or we clash with each other.)
then blue sky and sunshine & super mario, we rush for some parts, esp super mario, the opening and ending! very luan :X
then september, i think some instrument part can't be heard (from my seat larh.) then ....
Heard the recording, maybe cos the phone is near the 1st row (clarinets) then sounded loud (but tuning is for some parts...) then brass sound soft.
But in fact, brass sound soft from my seat, i don't know why. (maybe cos outdoor, then like there's no wall unlike our band room etc.)
sigh... next performance, let's do a better job!! Jiayous huayi concert band! :) (and also mayflower concert band! for your future perf.~

Btw, i think i panic when like tuner (the tuners that clarinet section usually used.) suddenly gone :O luckily, angelin take it etc. (thanks god, if not i will have another record of LOSTING ONE TUNER. *alrdy got record of losing one CONDUCTOR STAND~*)
and also when like suddenly, we all got banner put in front of us BUT dylis and xavier don't have :O shocked.
then is like... okay nvm.
and WHEN walking out, I SUDDENLY LIKE 手忙脚乱 cannot take up the clarinet plus stand plus scores plus banner.

okay, after performance, take photos etc.
go back to sch, like unpack things, then after awhile then dinner with chiaowen, vivian, samuel, choonhiang, junrong, minghong, yaoren, nicholas and chuanjie~
they were engaged with hand thingy, loll 勉强是没有幸福的 :) (LOLL minhui~)

Gosh, today's a screwed up day for me.
Firstly, FEEL SO DAMN FRUSTRATED WITH MATHS! 3D-DIAGRAMMMM!!
then in class i was like not listening and trying to solve the question but I CANNOT DO D:
sigh, don't know what's wrong with me then i cannot focus!

then next, at chem lesson, i feel like vomiting after smelling the gas etc (when ms chiang was demo the testing for hydrogen gas and carbon dioxide (think so)
then like super giddy, i don't know too then jinli also feel the same thing, maybe we stand behind ms chiang then blahblahblah~~~

Band time, i was damn pissed off at first, is like we alrdy carry down to the quadrangle then suddenly TIC come then WANTED to call us to bring back, even the percussion instruments, so damn pissed!
sigh, then ... but after that jiu try to cool down, since i pissed off also no use.
and we rush alot today, or maybe say only me bah :(
i don't know why i feel so nervous then is like... the same feeling at chem lab.
then i keep on go fast and CAN'T CONCENTRATE!!!! D:

sighh... and minhui said my tone change :(
and clarinets, we tongue like very hard @ blue sky and sunshine, maybe lighter abit i guess, i mean more lively etc bah... (based on minhui's view when she see our practice)
and now i'm like super scared to rush or sth, at the end there i was playing softer since like i don't dare to play loud and rush the whole band D:
THOUGH i got watch mr tan with my corner of my eyes, but i cannot really see properly cos i cannot open eyes properly also :( [the sunlight?]
So.... sigh :(
I need to concentrate tml! i shall sleep early today!!!
and drink more water! 100% FOCUS!!!

This is Kagome's theme song i think, omg, inuyasha was actually the first anime i watched that makes me ADDICTED TO IT and i watch till the end :)
Somedays, i'm going to rewatch it (Y)
and the storyline i think is nice and at the end, really quite touching for kagome and inuyasha~

and HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE! i seriously like the plot (Y) it's really super cool and at some part, is like... i cannot really tell the feeling but you know yourself that it's like so damn touching etc.

and it links me to Katekyo hitman reborn, so far the manga was not bad but i think like getting not nice de feeling :( cos it's all focus on the battle between shimon family and vongola~

Just watched on sat, omg seriously nice! :)
though i know there's this film existing, but i don't really have time to watch it, and as an excuse of relaxing myself, i go watch LOLL!
wanted to find original raw with english sub (japanese), but seems like don't have plus my laptop cannot load it!
:( so watched the english dubbed which i everytime when watching animes, i find it weird cos of the tone by the english voice actor. original is still the best :)

and it tempted me to read the original storybook by some angmoh lady LOLLL (i find that it's quite mean actually.. :O)
Anyway, i shall end here.
Need to do art layouts (i have no idea how am i going to draw picasso 's cubism style?!), E-math (for this week, we're chionging E-math ALL THE WAY!) and the science proposal (rejected many times :( gonna redo one last round then should be can experiment le bah!!!!! *hopefully~*)

Yesterday's RP concert is really nice. (Y)
Hmm, I personally like their noah's ark (the clarinet nice! :D), Orient express (not bad but i still like St. Pat's Orient express :O), Pustza (Sweeling's solo at mvt. 3! :D)~
Sigh, my phone DIED ON ME WHEN I RECORD NOAH'S ARK??!! but anyway, i can get it from szefann :) (really thankss! :D)

and it's funny to see people like sleeping during 'Sleep' - eric whitacre LOLL, but okay larh, i didn't sleep LOL~
then after that, wanted to wait for sweeling, but like wait until 11 plus, then the kids and some of us jiu go cos scared no bus, no train~

reach home like 12+, omgg, miss the late timing we reached home after concert lawlss (though i think few times only) but anyway, parents didn't really scold me cos i told the truth~

miss the carefree days, miss the sec 2's dec holiday which every week got band, then go concerts with usual people :)
miss the weeks that we have band everyday, though it was like quite chiong and i think only lasted for last few weeks, but everybody working hard towards the same goal is a nice feeling. A great feeling.
miss the slacking time during sec 1 or 2 which i stayed back and loiter around.
miss the time whereby 2E1 people are still in one class, :)
miss the moments when we bullied nice teachers or the noise in the sec 1 and 2.

Now, we're going to the last year of secondary school life in few more months.
Focus on studies.

Just roughly plan out study plan for this term first, >.< ehhh..
for almost everyday, i will sure have CHEM and PHYSIC, okay this two subjects are the ones that are really MUST BE SAVED BADLY.
was just randomly chatting with my sister, she was like complaining how JC is ....
then she say actually my subject combination is not suitable for going to JC, more on poly.
and plus she knows that my sciences sucks like hell, so is like... (JC's sciences damn hard :X)
Okay yeah, so i really think like going to poly maybe.
But maybe cos of this kind of attitude, then i just wanted to like pass le, can graduate to poly jiu can le.
okay, i don't really expect myself getting good results seriously.

and ~~i think~~ I DEFINITELY NEED TO READ BOOKS!
for the damn sake, and maybe steal some chinese books from my sister there, then i go library borrow english one.

And maybe words that i say to others, i'm really sorry and thankful for all of your encouragement tweets to me :)
So, if i have sort of offended/hurt you, I'm really sorry.

Now, i'm really fine le, so don't be doubtful when i'm like crazy or what, thinking i'm trying to hide my sadness or what.
LOLL, okay, life have to go on.
Even though i said i hate my life, but there's nothing i can do also.
I need to persevere and continue my life.
and maybe i have too high expectation for myself.

Cos... today is 7/7! (while mr huang was saying about next week got SS test, then he wrote 7/7 etc, then i was thinking today's a nice timing to listen to seventh night of july~~
But the tanabata or chinese known as 七夕节 (related to 牛郎与织女or the 七姐诞 (not many people know, but during this time, i think people pray to the seventh sister in the heaven or sth one, esp for girls.) )
But anyway, the real 七夕 is on seventh day of 农历七月(lunar calender~)
LOL, so we're like just random here.

For almost everyday, i have only slept for 5 hours i think. (ALSO DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING~)
so don't be too surprised i sleep in the class in the morning or maybe lunch time, or even lesson time.
or if i walk to school / classroom in the morning, my eyes is like closing while walking~

Anyway, today everybody change seat.
Well, maybe except me. ( though i got change also.)
BUT, IT'S NO DIFFERENT FROM MY PREVIOUS SEAT??
Now i'm still in front, right in front somemore, but is more towards the side (the window side).
My neighbours around me is like Sherline, Xiangbin, Meiwen etc.
okay, but actually i also don't mind, but when teacher say like first row people need MORE ATTENTION/ small size (me small size?? :O certainly not. LOL) then i was like.... i have been sitting in front for THE DAMN WHOLE YEAR.
Serious, My first semester seat was in front, then my exam seat was the same place, then when sch reopen, i sit at the same place, and now i just only change the column~ LOL
But anyway, maybe i really need attention, my sciences sucks like hell. the only good one are so far Math and Chinese (i'm going to work hard for that!!!!!)

oh then, blahblahblah, good thing today is that mrs heng didn't come, so we're released earlier. But DUE TO the physic practical which i have a hard time doing the experiment and plotting graph etc, we like spend about 1hour +++, staying back in the lab to do.

then after that, go esplanade alone (my brother was like: "wah, you damn 变态 sia, go out alone.") to return books (i don't see why we can't go out alone??? O.O look like loner? lolll, but sometimes we do need a peaceful 'alone' time for ourselves.)

sigh, then blahblahblah, do PPT for chinese and art things (prezi~).

Sigh, but this also means it's getting nearer to 16 and by the time, it's O level....
But anyway, thanks everybody who wished me happy birthday (regardless whether is in facebook or verbally~) and also people who give me presents!

Anyway, today Youth Carnival @ HYSS, quite okay larh, i just randomly walked around with angelin and minhui, like go kaypo kaypo~
and i didn't really help my class so much :( but at the end, still got help cleaning (cos it's really in a mess when people start playing the flour war!!)
Btw, the 3E4's Haunted house is really not bad, worth for $4 actually.
Make-up, costume did quite well, the music too haha! (plus the set-up too!)
LOL went in with angelin, xinying, then later they add people - Joel, Yikit and vernon.
LOLL damn funny! Then they don't let the boys go in front LOL!! I was like helloo-ing to every single ghosts (saw samuel, cynthia, fatin, dahlia, hakanah, aqilah etc.~) , quite funny but got one part i tio shocked cos someone suddenly pull my leg though i was like prepared.
Then i was looking for serena (JWSS de tubist :P) in school (thought she got come but in the end didn't cos i think her sister gone to school without telling her~~ :( )
and wore the class tee today LOL (which we received few days ago~)

Sometimes, i think i shouldn't take art instead, POA.
My art sucks seriously, sigh.
but anyway, cannot change or what alrdy.
Feel demoralised about all the subjects i take.
Pure chem & physic, i feel dropping it to combined sciences (chem & phy)
but some people (Seniors) say don't drop, not worth it for studying two subjects for 1 WHOLE subject.
Yeah larh, but what if i really cannot make it -.-
i don't understand alot of things, then is like for eg. the whole light chapter i actually blur blur, but i also don't know even though mdm yeo like say liao i understand, but the problem is like when doing questions, then is like.... i don't know how to answer also. (i always guess one.)

plus in this class, really stress... don't know why too.
All triple sciences, then plus all the pro scorers there, seriously, it's damn hard to even get into top 20 even.
and in the first place, i don't think i should be in this class too, >.< is like my result all so ... one.
Plus teachers keep on saying... sigh.

Yes, school reopen, new things in school - CANTEEN VENDOR~
seriously, IT'S EXPENSIVE!
One plate like $2 plus then drinks today only got bottle drinks, everything went up.
>.< and one plate $2 still okay if the portion is enough for us to bear for the whole morning/afternoon.
BUT, THE PORTION IS DAMN SMALL (esp OISHI~) and is like you eat 3 spoon jiu finish alrdy >.<
So, i rather i cooked myself in the morning and bring my own lunchbox.
but you know, morning don't have mood to cook, so is like ... (unless my father shunbian help me cook :) )
hope they got feedback and put in more rice (ALOT) please :)
and for some food, can like lower down the price cos us students cannot afford it seriously.
But with this situation, eating outside the school is better. LOL

SIGH, our one month holiday has just pass, TIME FOR THE TERM 3 :(
is like going to chiong like siao, esp thinking of my december holiday, surely got supp :(

but got 4 period of maths~~ okay, but i have learn the new chapters thanks to my tuition teacher, so should be alright but also quite bored~
and the worst thing is, no band practices for that week, cos tuesday got i think YOUTH CARNIVAL STUPID TRIAL RUN, and friday is YOUTH DAY~ (even is youth day, i don't mind going back to school to have BAND!!!)

sigh, today my tone like weird and plus abit airy (i think i can feel abit. and sweeling got say too) :(
played 3rd, is quite okay larh, :) but some of the parts i really luan diao!

Just slept like 13 hours, from ytd night de 8pm+.
Seriously, tired like siao and the moment i lie down on the bed, i just close my eyes and sleep.
Then don't know what time, suddenly ALOT OF PHONECALLS, turn out to be from my tuition teacher, to change the timing, i just like say okay okay, blahblahblah...
and i seriously super fed up when she call like 2nd time i think.

Anyway, talk about POP yesterday.
Officially, they are stepping down :(
Saw the POP video and it's really nice, and touching.
Quite alot of people crying after that, surprisingly, i didn't cry.
Maybe cos i cried everything out @ SYF day alrdy.
POP was a success i think and must really thanks the committee behind who are doing all this till ytd morning!
now, let's all jiayous and don't let our seniors down!
Seniors all have a high hope on us, we must continue to make our band to be lively and remaining at the same standard they all have put in to during their 4 years.
Quite alot of memories with them, is like i couldn't say everything out cos it's really alot.

Btw, i only took photo with the clarinet section & 1st clarinetists (SYF that time.)
other seniors not really LOL and feel abit regret that i didn't manage to do cards for other seniors!! :( :(
BUT we still got half year to see them, and i'm sure some of them also will come back :P

Band Chalet 2011!

Back from the 3 days 2 night Band CHALET! :D
Okay, talk about each day bah~

Day 1:
Meet with the buy-food group people (shihui, genevieve, qingxi, senmian, chaoxiang, choonhiang, nicholas, chuanjie and lois!) then go buy food for day 2 de BBQ, and random snacks to eat~
Reach the chalet about like 3+, then play sort of ice-breaking games~
Play 5-cent coin and i almost get forfeit all the time! (but in the end chiaowen got forfeit~)
Then what hand-mouth thingy de and Follow the leader.
Jiayue and Minghong got it, then the forfeit people have to go through the foot thingy~
LOL, it was damn pain and good thing there got a chart write certain part of the foot pain connect to which organ of the body. (and this make chiaowen worry for her health, chill!)
After that, dinner @ downtown east somewhere, then after dinner awhile, play volleyball with chiaowen, chaoxiang (super pro!! :D ), weizie, chuanjie, choonhiang, junrong, samuel, azirul, minghong and nicholas~
Wah, my hand there quite pain, and i always like use the wrong part of my arm (noob at vb seriously~)
After that, finally bath-ed and not long after play mafia at the girls' room.
i was like super noisy and keep on singing (mononoke! :D), i think i'm crazy that day.

Day 2:
After awhile, some of them go sleep, the rest of us go living room to continue, and i continue sing~~ :P
Then finally, everybody got bored or sth, change to monopoly deal~
i sleep about 30 mins in the living room and seriously, quite hard to sleep since got light and the floor is hard.
Then wake up to join in monopoly deal (with chiaowen, choonhiang, chaoxiang, senmian, chuanjie etc. *some people like change blahblahblah~~) , until 7am.
Then breakfast at Mac, i was like so damn hungry. >.<
After that, go back to chalet, the seniors go sleep in the girls' room, and i think i sleep at the living room for like 30mins also and neck super pain LOL (it's quite uncomfortable plus the floor is quite dirty and alot of ants actually.)
Then went out, wanted to play volleyball but seriously, my hand quite pain, then change to monkey.
A seriously good exercise for me LOL
Then prepare for the games, samuel and junrong helped me buy pack lunch (OH YA. still haven't return the money!) , then go to the station to wait for people to come~~
Then after the game, minhui finally came and wait with Angelin, Szefann and chiaowen! :D
Then the guys go rent mahjong, then see chuanjie, senmian, choonhiang and minghong mahjong-ing.
BBQ start then go help out :)
cook all the food until quite tired blahblahblah~ (in the end still LEFT ALOT!!!)
Oh ya, then the ex-seniors (priscilla, victoria, jieting, xueling, sharon, khiameng and sweeling~) came and some stay overnight too :)

TODAY!:
then i think i bath-ed and sleep in the room (finally!) then 4am wake up to drink water and seriously, some people are still awake (playing mahjong etc.)
Okay, then sleep like 5 hours i think (cos i got wake up by the noise outside quite alot of time.)
Wake up quite early (LOL, cos everybody is K.O-ed and sleeping at about 7+)
Start to pack up and clean up etc. :D
Then jiu go HOME!
After a long ride of MRT from pasir ris to Boonlay, i'm seriously super cold and really tired.
Then lunched with rest of us who alight at boonlay~

Okay, that's all for 3 days.
Though is like quite short, but it's really fun! :D
Now, i shall go sleep, later going to wake up and practice clarinet!
Tml sectional with flute section (clarinet & flute!) :D

Today seems to be lazy day for me, though i was like out for whole day~~

Go to esplanade with chiaowen (long time we didn't go there~~) and borrow some scores/ books!

I found a book that teach about clarinet techniques and useful tips before performance, practice and maintenance things etc~~!! :D

and some method book that got articulation excersise inside, i think that's useful to me since my articulation is like really bad.

and a sonata (Sonata for Clarinet and piano in F minor Op. 120 No.1 - Brahms) , i don't know why the hell i borrow it anyway, but maybe watching Nodame Cantabile 's effect (alot of classical music inside, some of them like Schubert's Piano Sonata in A minor D.845 is nice~) is rubbing off.

By the way, han kim also uploaded his christmas performance, is 2010 de, not this year.
I guess he upload late LOL

and i think i need to catch up on music theory, recently i sort of forget alot of things already,
Sigh, envied people who can study music and could go to oversea (Europe Countries!! :D) like Venice, Paris, London etc.

is super nice (^o^) !!!!!
But then now again, i don't feel like watching the TV drama series le, cos i think it's like almost the same anyway~

My brother's girlfriend (he say one, i also don't know is it true anot leh!) came to our house,
then i don't know that they're at home in the room, then i wanted to call my brother do something then i just bang the door and barged into his room LOLL (that's damn awkward!!)
then he say he help cook which i think this is an act seriously, HE USUALLY DON'T COOK FOR ME!
So, seriously, i think he's such a -.- if my future 大嫂 come here again, i'm seriously going to reveal all HIS BAD POINTS!

Have been watching Nodame Cantabile for the whole afternoon (excluding practice time! :D)
quite nice i think, it's about music stuffs, but not on woodwind or brass but rather strings and piano, and maybe.. conducting (does it counted?)
some parts are quite LOL, but overall still okay ^^
Got Anime and Tv series (real people i mean.)
and there's Rhapsody in blue inside too! :D (Jazz band version.)

bored day 3~

reading the title, quite bored hahas~ like killing time like that.
but i spend the time usefully by doing homework, PRACTICING and lastly playing maple which now the sever on maintainence -.- (wanted to chiong to 70 one, left 4 levels only leh! but no 2x nowaday D:)

Sigh, suddenly miss the period whereby whole week got band, i was out until very late everyday and keep on practice.
Though it's tiring, but at least i know i use my time to practice and balance on my studies etc.
although now i still got practice and study, but the feeling is different bah, practicing together with band is fun :D
My sight-read now okay okay, but sometimes very hard to see many sharps and flats one! >.< so, still consider bad D:
Miss having band everyday~ and study time in library etc too~
But this week de break is still good cos i cannot finally take my time from my usual busy schedule and relax~!

SUPER BORED!

okay, random anyway.
Today is homework day which i only do the section A of the Math paper LOL (practice one)
night then do rest, i usually do homework at night, even in holidays, i don't know why.
afternoon no mood for homework :)
maple become sian and i was too lazy to train my BM to 70 without the help of free 2x given by the maple itself.
Keep on listening to pieces, blahblahblah, then do homework.
Later gonna practice :D
and my phone is like no money alrdy -.- sucks when ppl smsed you and you can't reply back cos there's no money in the phone.
i should seriously persuade my mum to sign contract -.- but sometimes i don't use alot, sometimes i use damn alot LOL
and i'm going to 'steal' some chinese books from my sister to read. so lazy to go borrow or buy (personally, i don't like borrow cos there's time limit and i have to read finish the storybook before deadline which is super MAFAN for me!)

Life has been boring these few days, except for going out for tuition and practice :P
Stay at home play maple, seriously, this is why i play maple - KILL TIME.
and practice too, sigh i have to find a reed that give me the tone i want!! :)
now got one, but it's better to have more of course.

My plan for 2nd week of holiday: DO HOMEWORK!
yes, study and do homework!
plan to finish all the homeworks by 2nd week so 3rd and 4th week i don't need to worry! (chalet and camp *Hinthint POP~~*)
sigh... seriously, this holiday got nothing to do. All the practices like so LESS (SERIOUSLY, compared to past years, THIS IS THE MOST SLACKEST holiday schedule -.-) and we also have to end like a certain timing, cannot drag much :( :(
That's why i say school system sucks, not caring about CCA, but only academic and planning all sorts of activities without thinking of the schedule of CCAs.
CCA is also important activity in school, if not why MOE set as a compulsory to all students, for what the heck they would set this if the school is not supporting the CCAs itself?
I know academic is important too, but CCA help us build our characters (that's what everybody say, even the teachers too.) blahblahblah
Sigh, no choice larh.
Envy those schools who fully support band :(
So now, it all depend on us, we must make extra effort!

3rd week of holiday: CHALET! and maybe got flute and clarinet sectional :D :D

sigh, wanted to go find work, but i guess :( cannot also.
Cos mum don't allow, no choice >.< after next year's O level bah.
Have to earn money for poly!!! (i still don't know whether i want go JC or poly anot, but JC so stress, i can die okay -.-)
For now, just focus on studies? (but still, my result cui sia~)

Okay, today is sigh :(
Whole clarinet section screwed up, ~~PLEASE~~ PLAY LOUDER!!!! (esp third and second! *that excluding samuel~*)
okay, 1st also quite screwed up, the two kids (jiaen and mariatul~ :D ) beside me, please play louder too!
(i doubt anyone will see this anyway)
anyway, we practice Dawn of the new day, Monmouth overture and tanglewood overture (O.O)
okay, actually i feel so -.- when i only heard my own clarinet sound while the others like no sound then even me started to feel scared. >.< (when samuel not there) *is like it's damn quiet then u are only one playing~*

Now, the situation in band is like .... everybody (clarinet section ESP) like all scared scared to play, cos no seniors alrdy. (but this is also not the reason why your are scared, and what mr tan say really is damn true. You guys alrdy go to SYF for once, your shouldn't be scared to play out loud, even if it's wrong, it's better than playing too soft which doesn't make you improve!)

sigh, what's the use of some of us playing loud to support the band while others cannot help to support too? you guys are in the band, we're one group, everybody must do their effort by playing loud and don't be scared to play out, and btw, you guys had gone to SYF before!!!

Why did i say nobody going cos too late when nicholas wanted to buy tickets?!
Zzzz.... super regret :( but it's really quite late.
and plus i got a feeling if i go out until too late, i will get killed by my mum. (today her mood super bad, i guess is... LOLL)
but now thinking back, i don't mind going out until so late cos i got a feeling this concert is seriously a worth it and i don't care if my mum killed me or what, I JUST WANT TO LISTEN LIVE~~

sigh, no point larh. Anyway, this is brass de, then if i go is like... betraying woodwind? (reminded me that time de NAFA 3rd year students recital (woodwind) , after listening to the 2 clarinetists, the last one we didn't listen cos is like we sit from flute one then to two clarinetists then last one is the MAIN THING (最高潮!!)

Oh yeah, today's 1st band practice without the seniors... after exam..
okay, is like everything super messy.
Mr ng conduct us mononoke hime medley (>.<) then IS LIKE.... we use 1hr plus plus to reach the trumpet solo there, then break, finally mr tan came.
play ride and singapore flyer, and now is like... also very messy.
Sigh sigh, but is like the band is becoming super small :( BUT STILL, now cannot depend on seniors alrdy! *is long time jiu cannot depend already.*
Everybody jiayous and KEEP THE BAND ALIVEEE!

After band, pepper lunch-ed with chiaowen, minhui, angelin, siying and krisha! :D

after friday, 3 days holiday! :D
yay, got time to revise le, must chiong both humanities. (plus sciences, -.-)
damn it lorh, memorise so much :X sigh sigh.
but at least i'm better than bio students, thursday SS and bio = GG. (surely memorise like siao?) *i can laugh at them HAHA!*
but i'm not better than them too, next next monday after physic is art (3 hours~)
still doing my prep work, is like still at first hand observation -.- sure die.

Feeling of ....

Feeling of playing old scores we played before -

Ross Roy (i think when only first clarinet playing that part, i missed some notes and didn't know myself? xD) , Die Fledermaus, huntingdon celebration, blue sky and sunshine ( I can still rmb minhui test me on 'blue sky and sunshine' and i think i got 16 mistakes or more. that means it's no. of jumping jacks (x2) or pumping i do~ :D ), sound of music medley (genevieve came to me and just randomly test me while i was sitting there practicing myself :D , Latin favourite (clearly rmb during sectionals, sweeling keep on repeating the middle part cos we cannot do the running notes~ > < now can but abit not consistent :P), animation song medley ( the running notes for clarinets! xD ) , and more...

shiok! though most of the sec 3 batch people have not play many difficult pieces compared to the seniors before that, but these pieces really brings back memories. Memories of lower sec life, in band :D

sigh, time passes so fast, :( so fast, i'm sec 3, it's just like i'm still a junior ytd.

and now the sec 4 seniors... stepping down :(

okay, left the tears to POP day! they are still not officially stepped down!!!!!!

This time 's POP seems like... compared to nicholas's batch, this time seems like... really feel so sad, maybe cos our age gap is smaller and we spend alot of times together, from sec 1 till now, and esp preparing SYF period!

Disappointment - silver.
Now, huayi concert band gonna stuck again with the title of silver band.
Yes, at least we maintain, that's the good thing.
But we all know, this is not our best performance.
We disappointed sweeling, nicholas, other seniors who came back to teach us, and our conductor, Mr tan.
Sweeling and nicholas has been coming back to teach us like almost every practices, having sectionals (Clarinet section, clarinet & saxophone section, brass section etc.)
Mr tan has been pushing us and pick up our mistakes and to make us practice. (our speed of ride, tonguing for ride before that and singapore flyer, intonation, and alot alot more.)

if my embouchure wasn't too tired and pain, i can use my usual embouchure and get a better tuning and tone.
Esp, PART F of singapore flyer, screwed up.
Sigh, life have to still move on.

All sec 4 seniors stepping down soon....
I will dearly missed all the seniors, esp minhui, genevieve, the usual people that we eat dinner together - chuanjie, joonkiat and chaoxiang.
Thanks all the seniors, esp minhui who have been my 'partner' for 1st clarinetist together with jiaen and genevieve who is our really really nice SL leading the clarinet section, though sometimes strict (but for me, i think it's okay :) ) in sectionals.
Really thanks to them, they really are the ones that support the band and without them, us juniors wouldn't be able to play with this standard....
and having the fun time with them outside band or after band, really makes up one of my memorable memories in my secondary life.

Life have to still go on, SYF is a competition that makes everybody work hard and get a medal.
Though we are titled as silver band, we will still work very hard on our every performances to have the gold standard of our each performances! (be it, band concert, outdoor performance etc.)
Though it's not our best, what's over is over.
But still feel disappointed.... for me.

1 more day, much more exact - like 12 hours plus~~
to HUAYI CONCERT BAND'S SYF!!

gosh, i feeling nervous actually, or maybe excited.
But anyway, i must be calm and not to be too over-excited and NERVOUS!
so, i think typing out this feeling will be better to me. (okay, it really works, not feeling so nervous anymore!)

Anyway, 7 mins + of 'Ride on Singapore Flyer' , 7 mins + on stage, decides the fate of huayi concert band having the chance of getting gold or silver or bronze!!!!!
okay, i shall not care about the result.
But do my really very best and make sure i breathe ALOT where i can breathe during RIDE! (sometimes, need to drag notes then no time to breathe! sigh! D: )
and the tonguing too! try to make my tonguing muffled :) so if i'm not able to play the fast tonguing, it's not so obvious! ^^
and GOOD LUCK plus double JIAYOUS TO THE SOLOISTS - Qing xi (saxophonist) and Lois (oboist) !!! :D Our ride all depend on you guys and with the support of whole band! :D

yeah, chilled more when listenning to other band musics (not ride or singapore flyer~) :D
This is our only last chance, let's make it the best ever and focus on SINGAPORE FLYER AND RIDE!
Nobody's look at us (except judges? but don't see them!!) , we are all by ourselves! :D
Just do what we do in the last few round of practices, and treasure the 1 hour with mr tan tml!

加油 JIAYOUS TO ALL HUAYI CONCERT BAND MEMBERS!
Take this 7mins + of Ride on the singapore flyer, imagine the scenery when going up to sky like you're on the singapore flyer (when playing sg flyer) and the ride in the car, with constant speed and take it easy, calm and push all the notes longer and accented! (when playing ride!)
Remember all our dynamics, and when to slow down, tongue gently and keep it cool~ :)
Remember what Mr tan, Sweeling and nicholas had told us about our playings and keep it stable! (rmb to watch mr tan! :D)

Today's practice, my tone quality super bad, :(
then inner lips where i bite while placing the mouthpiece on the lower lips super pain! :(
All notes flat like siao at first, then i push more air and breathe super alot than usual!
have to put 西瓜粉~ = =
and tml completely tonguing excersise all the way, and check for intonation~ feel that i always out of tune alot -.-

Today's result = REALLY SHOCKING. :O
everybody's mouth open when nicholas announced to us.

Marsling band played Selections from 'die fledermaus' (huayi's SYF 2009 choice piece!) and got silver. :O
They are previously gold band!
omg, this year like quite a few gold band dropped to silver, then silver band dropped to bronze.
and another shocking one - Yuying concert band.... got silver! :(
they played their specially-composed by Satoshi Yagisawa de piece - Like an eagle, we soar and rise and Memories of friendship....
sigh, but their sound is really damn nice! but sadly judges don't like it :(
Hwa chong got gold with Gloriosa (got 3 mvts. ,but not sure which mvt they playing~ i rmb got the AWESOME PICCOLO SOLO @ mvt. 2!)

Now, 4 more days left, getting on track back finally, last two practices was like so screwed, tone quality (now getting better but still, sometimes sound electric and i scared of the cold environment in the conference hall!) , intonation, tonguing (need to really do tonguing excersise before that!) and dynamics (sometimes, i forget to go down soft! DAMNNN! D: singapore flyer and ride, all same > < )
But i think soft part can be softer but hard, some high notes part so hard to go soft :( :( last minute practice like no use, but WE STILL HAVE TO DO IT!
Just do our job, like what mr tan say :) [but i think have the confidence in yourself is also important, just use your true strength and blow out! :D *P.S not blast~ )

though i am hoping for really a GOLD, but after hearing what mr tan says, sort of doubting...
It's either a gold or silver, but i think everybody in huayi concert band are really hoping for gold, right?! (i mean it's true that everybody wants to get gold~)
and really, mayflower band members, are really brave (after hearing what mr tan says about them :) they seriously have the confidence in them and able to calm down and stable on stage usually!)
With 4/5 clarinetists on stage only, the clarinet sound still can be heard among the whole band.
So i really say, their clarinet section for this year's SYF is pretty good :) (Y)

sigh, and another thing...
Even after SYF, with super little recruits in sec 1, really need to work hard to support the band and sec 2s, it's time for your to take the leads~!
i think this time's SYF determine whether the school will want to support the band more and get us more recruits next year probably.

now for the 4 more days, just concentrate on band! studies i will do it at night~

5 MORE DAYS!

It's the 4th day of SYF concert band.

Both Christ church and Mayflower had gotten the result of SYF today and yesterday.

Congrats to Mayflower concert band which they managed to maintain their silver! :D

Though i was like guessing this time they might get gold cos of their super good intonation!

Starting to get really nervous abit and it's 5 more days!

Have to like keep on repeating Singapore flyer and Ride and remember everything - dynamics and tonguing!

and focus on my intonation with my fellow 1st clarinetists - Minhui (Ride high Eb, high D, high C#!) and Jiaen (Sg flyer 's part F!) ! :D

and also with other clarinetists and whole band! :)

Now is like we (clarinets) become softer abit, SEEMS LIKE i have soften down alot,

i guess cos i have no strength to play loud alrdy? D:

sigh, but that volume should be .... can? (not sure > <)

and so far, yesterday's result is like so disappointing cos there's alot of bronze band, some bands from silver dropped to bronze...

today not bad, quite alot of silver, and another band with GWH - St. patrick's!

but there's COP for today's result....
and anyway, guangyang got silver for their selections from 'merry widow' and Singapore flyer! :)

The 2nd day of Concert band has just end. Tml's 3rd day!
ALL THE BEST AND JIAYOUS TO EVERY BANDS!
Esp Christ church :D & Dunearn! (jiayous zhixin! :D)

now there's 2 gold with honors band - Catholic high (with Jericho!) and Maris Stella high
9 gold bands - Shuqun (the first west side band get gold for this SYF!), CHIJ St Theresa (honestly, quite shocked that they play In the winter of 1730 and get gold!) , Dunman high, Yuhua (with their Firestorm by Stephen Bulla), Ang mo kio (i thought they will get GWH this time... but quite shocking too,), Nan hua, RI, Regent, Anglo Chinese (independent)

Congrats! :D (but there are still alot of days left! 8 more days to HUAYI 's SYF day!)
This time alot of band play Bert appertmont 's pieces like Jericho (damn popular leh for this year O.O) , Noah's ark etc. , Eiji Suzuki's and The seventh night of july!
and too, congrats for other bands who get silver, though i think alot of bands aiming for gold... but sigh...
Now, starting to get nervous-ness in me and i really scared i will somehow screwed up, like what fall down before the competition (that's the dumbest thing ever SERIOUSLY, I SERIOUSLY SUPER SCARED WILL END UP LIKE THE REHEARSAL THAT TIME!) , then what things didn't bring or sth.

and also, i will (=must alrdy) REALLY NEED TO SLEEP before 10+ and make sure i eat my medicine (for my lungs) and replenish my body energy.
I seriously scared i will suddenly go on heart attack or asthma attack *TOUCH 10000000000000000000000000 of woods* though i don't have any this kind of illness.
But recently, my breathing is getting unstable and is like after an intensive sectional or band practice, i practically have no air and strength to blow, in the end forcing out the last note then whole mind will black out for one moment.
and yesterday night, when i was like sitting there do my maths, when i stand up is like suddenly giddy and the feeling came back again.

Sigh, i need to take care my health more and so, can last until this 8 days!
but with the CT stresses and homework stress... omg, i will be super tired.

Everybody now try to relax abit (and before going in too!), since i think if too tense up, the whole band will play very fierce like what we always do @ the first round of exchanges usually.

WOOOOOOTTSSSSS! I CAN FINALLY HEAR CLEARLY AFTER CLEANING THE EARS!

totally so happy :D everything is loud to me and i feel giddy at first, cos i haven't get used to the loudness of the environment.

Can hear the car sound etc. :) and even the irritating child who shout in the middle of night, running around the playground LOL (i sound so bad)

Okay, so now i can hear my tuning clearly too!

woots, and i wouldn't ever mis-heard people's words. (LOLL, playing Singapore flyer at Ride speed :P)

Anyway, before my ear is still blocked, i was like scared i will turn deaf on my left cos got blood while i was trying to clean my ears myself.

Phew, now it's settled! So next time, please do not be like me LOLL

Anyway, 12 (tml) days to SYF, omg damn fast....

it's less than 1 week alrdy, please, i pray my tonguing will get better during these few days.

Sigh, for 2 days, i have been burning midnight oil until 1 and wake up 5.45 to prepare for school.

It's like less than 6 hours and i often sleep until 6+ now. Really damn tired.

I think i'm gonna burn again, to complete my social studies holiday homework (i actually do it in the morning today but mrs wong's expectation so high!)

First thing here, personally, i think we screwed up our ride.

We slowed (for ride) RIGHT @ the beginning!

Feel that it's really my fault lorh, i can't tongue in time and slow down the tonguing part.

gosh, why my tonguing suddenly become so slow? my tonguing is still okay until these few weeks, maybe cos i really scared and hesitated awhile.

DAMN, i shouldn't have hesitated!

D: so disappointed with myself, and i'm like one of the members that 连累 whole band down.

Super slack and fun for these few days, it's all doing fun stuffs (the miniature garden and custom paperweight!) and hort park trill! :D
Today super fun :D hahas, have alot of joke things with the sec 2 who didn't go for camp and of cos, sec 3 who didn't go for the camp (band people :D) - consisting of Angelin (tudi!), Keller, Geena, Yijie, samuel, junrong and liyu! :D
Took quite alot of photos too, all on facebook :D
and we also quite loud i think, the teacher (mainly mr kuang?) also took alot of our 'group' photo!

Woodwind people except liyu are really 'jiaohua' LOLL
Cos i fall down first (butt super pain @ that time!) then geena slipped and almost fall down for few times, samuel slipped and almost fall down too~
LOL then the brass and percussion people is 'steady', i hold on to angelin's bag for quite a long time :P
Maybe the woodwinds 'run' too much liao, shows that we play our running notes everyday LOLL (inside jokee~)

Then walk quite a long distance, rest time at entrance of hort park - played monopoly deal.
Keep on getting bad cards, then yijie so 贱 wor!
Then turn out that our game is played until we go back school and went to band room.
at band room, chuanjie, joonkiat and geena joined in the game, i deal break two times, and win :D
LOL, really get super zai cards (damn lucky >.<)

sigh, but anyway, goes back to my playing....
I think i really deprove alot lorh, my tonguing all out.
Cant even hold for 20 beats -.-
Scales studies is like ... my tonguing super bad, fingering like sometimes stuck D:
INTONATION TOTALLY OUT today! (and i think my intonation is bad now.)
ARTICULATION TOO, my memories of friendship articulation - SUPER LOUSY until cannot lousy already!
My ear blocked from morning till now, even when i'm typing right now!
:( and playing back those old pieces, my timing all out and fingering is like... sometimes will suddenly go blank and you don't know where are you.
ESP WHEN MY EAR IS BLOCKED AND I CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING!
all muffed sound, then my clarinet sound is like so out of tune when i hear~ (maybe cos it's new reed....? hm, but it's not really an excuse!)

Totally so stressed up and super 痛苦 that you feel like 'pouring' out the water inside your ear but cannot cos i also don't know why :X
Seriously, and my panda eyes super yanzhong already!

and honestly speaking, seeing other school band's clarinet section (one of the very good example- MCB CLARINET SECTION! 4 clarinetists are really the strong players!), i think we need to work super hard to get to that kind of standard.
Everybody playing their own parts well and loud (& is really super clear and good in terms of dynamics, INTONATION *This is the part why current HYCB can't play those need good intonation de pieces, only like technical and fast stuff, HONESTLY SPEAKING!* and the biting of notes!)
However, HYCB clarinet section though is the biggest section in the our band, but our sound is always so soft and covered up by other sections.
I think cos some players are still hiding among the players and try to hide their own mistakes.
It's like though we got 12 clarinetists (Soprano Bb), there's only 5-6 people or maybe 6-7 people playing clearly and not those with not clear running notes
Not trying to say the juniors are hiding behind, but i think cos our biting of note, biting the notes is not tongue harder, but really TONGUE (PROPERLY!) and cut the note cleanly.

Yeah, and seriously, i'm hinting that some of the juniors really played super soft and even though i'm sitting right beside you, i can hear samuel's part so clearly lorh! (quite obvious who am i talking about~)
So, you take my hint and ~~please~~ PLAY LOUDER! (after camp, hope you get to see this~~)
*note that this is not talking bad about you, but just advising cos seems like there's no use of me forcing you to play loud -.- sigh.

but of cos, when you are 'blasting' (though blasting is not advisable to do, but no choice, you guys have to blast for some loud parts!), PLEASE, LISTEN YOUR INTONATION.
don't just blast out the out of tune note, seriously you will get the whole band into trouble! ( though i think i was like 'blasting' *sounds like blasting sometimes, but in the actual, i just can't control myself sometimes, omg, i still have super duper alot to learn!* out of tune note~)

okay, i feel so dumb to post it here cos it seems like some juniors wouldn't come here to see also, no use saying also~ (but this is a really personal view as a senior! and really a fact for some parts!!)

I don't know why, from primary school till now, i have always been alone (even if got friends, i don't have any friends that really can last until now...) and i don't even know what's my aim for life.
Is like i find it so hard to communicate with other people.
Like there is really no one that always know what am i thinking, how i feel and knows me the best.
Maybe because i have this kind of bad personality.
Seems like there's no use trying to improve my personality.

I always say i don't care about what people think about me, but in the actual fact, i think i do.

Should have controlled myself not be so pissed off and 激动 when juniors keep on making mistakes, & i played louder -.-
Sigh, though our juniors are already quite working hard, but still there's room for improvement (means ALOT ALOT!)
Jiayous juniors! (jiaen, yingxuan, mariatul, xinying, siying, dylis, xavier and lixuan!)
Just keep on attending sectionals and practices, even outside the school de sectionals, you will get better!
but do not skip sectionals (unless your parents don't allow,you can't go out or you're sick) and go other places to have fun. (talking about in general, not just juniors, but seniors too)
Seriously, SYF is coming le, please be serious and stop fooling around!
and don't give crappy excuses that you can't go sectionals.
Sectionals are important also, we need to practice as a whole section, and it's quite useless if not everybody is there.
We must be improving together, not some improving and some still stuck there.
We're one section, (and also as a whole band too) must jiayous!
and Sectionals also let us know the mistakes you usually do in band practices and we will also help you in correcting the mistakes.
Don't be afraid to play out loud, MUST BE THICK-SKINNED!
and for embouchure, if you sound very airy, this might help.

Band exchange with Mayflower & Christ church

Exchange with mayflower and christ church, but not really an exchange since we like all know each other?
Goes on~~

omg, i can say, mayflower and christ church improved alot and we were like.... still stuck there.. (i'm sorry to say that to all hycb members~ D: but it's... true?)

Mayflower 's Mt. Taishan, i like their dynamics and intonation, omg 4 Bb clarinetists can owned huayi's 12 Bb clarinetists alrdy!
and we can hear the clarinets so clearly, IN TUNE for most of the parts in their Mt. Taishan.
Not like ours, we don't really bite the notes then it's damn not clear.
Like there's still people hiding behind..!
and our intonation also quite... sigh, sian, don't know what's wrong with me.
The way i played in normal practices and with audience are TOTALLY two different style!
!!! i need to overcome this STAGE FRIGHT!

and christ church's memories of friendship not bad too!
I think quite nice and abit different from other bands we have seen that played memories of friendship.
Btw, sight-read memories of friendship today, okay i think articulation need to be super clear for this piece.
not much of intonation maybe since there's not much high notes!
and is a march, in 2/4 beat which i don't really like to play LOLL
and note emphasise is on 2nd beat~

Gosh, i think seriously mayflower and christ church bands really improve alot! (but some parts can be still improved!)

Our ride, now i don't know why we tend to slow down during the running notes lorh!
and seriously, we will rush our after bar 90 part, cos some instruments don't know that we need to pull the note longer then play short, sigh, so that's why we have to attend every band practices! (so if there's any change in the style of playing request by mr tan, we will know it!)
and the running notes too, very messy and we didn't play full value (clarinetss~)
of cos, screwed up the last part for Ride, but anyway, the afternoon we played is minhui playing, lucky!
I think minhui play better in that part, but i think should like go louder bah, since if we didn't go loud, not obvious enough for the dynamics!
and my singapore flyer, i need to keep on practicing too!
but now, FOCUS ON RIDE AND REALLY PRACTICE SUPER HARD FOR THIS.
We're now all like sometimes rush, sometimes slowing down, super unstable for the whole band!

Totally, this time is really a SCREWED UP.
My intonation and tone for today totally sucks, what's wrong with my 56 reed? :(
Sigh, guess after using for like a few times, then change plus my lower lips super pain.
I can't use cigarette paper since my intonation will go damn out.

First time round (when using cigarette paper), screwed up the RIDE Last part Bar 152 there, :(
and RUNNING NOTES BAR, we tend to cut off the notes earlier D: (but second round i didn't cut off the note too early?)
Seriously, i think my high notes soft is like so...
and when i go loud, totally super outstanding from others~

For singapore flyer, practically my Part F 's intonation totally out and i don't dare to play loud D:
the high D to high high D i didn't play and let the flute do it~ [since they quite in tune at Part F (flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone (?) and 1st trumpet part) ]
and seriously, the fan is damn big and our score (for the Ride, got 3 pages) like flying -.-
i was like so disappointed for the first round, and keep on practicing those parts during the break.

Then second round (not using cigarette paper), totally feel the nervousness since i really super scared for the intonation for Singapore flyer, and the 152 bar for ride! (after playing the 1st round -.-)
Okay, i don't know but it turns out whole band is more relaxed and the bar 152 for ride, managed to like play in time BUT still tend to slow down since like when i play fast, my high high Db 's fingering is like so awkward, switching Db to A, then Ab to Bb (using alt. fingering, so it's also the High high D's fingering adding another key above.)
SO THAT'S SUPER awkward, but last time before i change to 2nd clarinet, i was like can one lorh! D:
Sigh, then after switching back the fingering i will like tend to slow down, HAVE TO PRACTICE MORE!

and Singapore flyer, quite okay but.......
the intonation for Part F really quite .... and my tone for today = suckish and disgusting D:
Super tired and plus my lower lips very pain after yesterday's sectional (alrdy keep on practicing 'F' part for sg flyer, 152 and running notes bar for ride! but still can't make it D:)

After listening to Mr tan and Mr Ng hoe's 'scolding', not really a scolding but it's like a reminder.

If we're alrdy stress, what about other school band?

Alot of bands practice from morning till night during holiday, almost everyday got at least like 8 hours of practice.

Somemore, the other school band seniors also have to concentrate on their studies, so they also need to study, which will take up like 2-3 hours (or 1 hour maybe), then you only got like 5-7 hours to sleep then next day is another cycle again.

I can't imagine what will happen to us if our band is really like this.

and our school system sucks, i was like say it so many times -.-

TIC do things so slow, and for the whole holiday, sec one have NO PRACTICE.

What is this? Focus on SYF for seniors, but we don't care about juniors?

Juniors also need to practice mah, and somemore after SYF, seniors all stepped down :(

I know that i myself isn't a good senior that set a good role model to all juniors, but i would like to say this:

If you guys are alrdy stress, what about the seniors? What about the leaders (SL, majors) ?

Totally so true about Mr Ng Hoe and Mr Tan 's words.

But i also can't judge, i'm also one of them, and i know myself, not being a really good senior that set good example to juniors and often give bad advices (like encouraging them to pon some useless programs in school to come for practice *IS THIS COUNTED?*) or like very suibian.

I also like can't be strict much, seriously if i really get strict or serious during band, then Jiaen and Yingxuan will be suffering alot. *because they sit right beside me :D* (okay not really maybe, sometimes i joke with them too much alrdy.)

and i myself during band also will lose concentration easily :(

and sectionals too, like sometimes play too much.

Okay anyway, sometimes maybe if you really feel stress, it might because that you feel you're not doing good, and wanted to improve yourself more, but you still can't do it, this is where the stress come in.

Though like the seniors want you guys to really improve and buck up for the SYF (so we can really get a good result - maintaining a silver! or even getting a gold.), but if you feel stress, you aren't putting the 100% effort too. (same, if you really feeling super sick, you aren't putting the 100% effort during practice, take care of your body! You have to perverse till the SYF's over! After all, health is the most important so you can concentrate 100% in practice and improve much faster!)

So, the best thing is like treat your practice fun.

Yeah, practice might be boring sometimes but of cos, PERFECT PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT.

Practicing can be fun if you see the fun of it.

Those scales (studies, chromatic, appergios), long notes, tonguing, lip slurring etc is important and sometimes, if you really know those scales studies and able to play it without score and remembering the fingerings, you will get a satisfied feeling after.

At least, for me it is, everytime when i'm able to finish the whole studies of scales.

and i will be like more motivated to practice and beginning to learn other scale studies or tonguing excersise etc.

Of cos, long notes are important too! Train up your stamina which now my stamina super lousy.

Side track abit....

Can't even complete a whole scales this morning since i was feeling HEADACHE and stomachache, omg, what's this feeling? :(

and during your own time practice, make sure you have like at least 1 hour of basics (long notes, scales studies, tonguing, TUNING EVERY NOTE), at least 2 hours of practicing the pieces that are important (what i mean by important is really IMPORTANT, for example - RIDE & Singapore Flyer, for OUR SYF!) and if you got time, practice some fun pieces (for me, i will just like practice random pieces that we're not even playing right now) but don't blast too much (blast meaning your embouchure will change once you play too loud and sometimes you might not have enough air to hold on to the note.) since it's not good for your embouchure actually (in generally?)

But if you really have no time for the day (like after lesson super late alrdy or going out to concerts until super late LOL), like only got 1/2 hour, or even like 30 mins.

Play long notes, tonguing, scales for 15 to 45 mins, then other time all practice the pieces that are important (please see the definition up there), and don't bother to practice the pieces you like to play first.

What's more important is the basics and the pieces we're currently playing.

But since you have alrdy no time, just do all this bah.

Okay, i say alot, just end here now.

Sorry if this post is offensive, and i seriously think seniors are really very super lenient alrdy. NO OFFENCE as i said.

It's like less than one month or even less than 3 weeks to SYF alrdy.

We don't even have enough practices since crappy school organised such a WONDERFUL camp during this period. (see my sarcasm?)

We have to really practice alot (x 10000)!

Anyway, the above method of practicing is like quite effective to me since i often practice clarinet with long hours (& resulting in lesser amount of time spend on STUDIES!) *but ever since this year, i have like lessen my time liao D: D: *

You can try it maybe, but let me say, please don't practice those fun pieces you like to play, practice what you don't know in important pieces and keep on repeating if you want to get to the speed. Use metronome, it really works! :D

Okay, since it's one week holiday starting, shall post one then maybe post more if got time :)
Anyway, IT'S HOLIDAYYY!
Can sleep more, i love it (Y) :D
but my one week holiday wouldn't be like a holiday.
Packed with Band practices, sectionals outside (totally yay! :D we need more sectional to improve our playing - Ride & Singapore flyer! and improve on alot of parts!), Homeworks (piled like mountain & i carry lots of books home! HENG MY PHYSICS TEXTBOOK AT HOME! :D If not, die alrdy. with my clarinet, painting stuffs & the thick band file, maybe i should take minhui's advices to clear some scores out. and put at home.) , outings (which i don't even know is it decided yet anot.) and YES, i need to sleep so i shall put sleeping in my schedule, take a nap if got time.
But seriously, i don't think i can even squeeze a nap time in my one-week holiday timetable! :(

Anyway, feel like going library study~ depends bah, :D
I need to work out the timetable for one-week holiday, then the next week which is the camp week (THAT I'M SO NOT GOING TO GO.)
and i think i should sleep more, seriously my dark eye ring LOOK like i kenna punched like that, -.-
PANDA eyes for so many months alrdy. (okay, it's only like 2 months that the panda eyes super yanzhong.)
but now is like, i sleep @ 11 or 10.30, i can't sleep then until 12 plus then i start to sleep.
So there's not much difference in sleeping at any time early since i can only sleep around 12 plus there.

I feel like buying a whole box one, but seriously NO MONEY D:
and one box of vandoren 56 (esp that this is SIGNATURE REEDS LOL) cost like @#$!!@# which can like maybe 2 boxes of this can buy a ligature that we use!

But i love the tone that the reed give me, i don't know is my embouchure or what, but this reed sound more like lower sound and not really easy to sound sharper, while the traditional vandoren reed make my tone sometimes super electric then sometimes good, it's like depending on the quality of the reed.
After all, one box of reeds, some reeds might not be in good quality, but vandoren 56 maybe might not all be the same quality but still, it's the best reed they choose from each batch?
So it depends on our luck, soaking of reed and maintaining the reed well to have a good, nice tone and comfortable reed for us. :)

Oh btw, mr tan bought for us to experiment on the plastic reeds (also known as the synthetic reed~)
Sounds awesome since there's no need to warm up the reed, but tone is quite not nice for me.
High notes range 's tone totally sucks, but we using the Forestone Reed (what got add bamboo??).
Maybe try Legere's Signature series reeds might be better, but still, maybe i would prefer cane reed than synthetic reed. (depends after trying the legere's signature series reed.
But one advantage is that can last very long and no need to warm up/ soak the reed which this is always the problem of how i soak can affect my tone for the reed.
and easier to blow, but tone-quality, i would really prefer the cane reed.

SCREWED UP SCHOOL.

How can you have CAMPS JUST RIGHT BEFORE THE SYF?!
All the performing Arts needs to practice to prepare for the SYF, how can you just set camps one week before?
Encourage us to get gold, That's really FUNNY.

How wonderful the school is. SERIOUSLY.

Expect us to get gold, but what's all these shitty things popped out just one week right before the week of SYF starts.
We need to prepare for that, and do you know that 5 days having no instrument to practice can lose our embouchure and it's quite difficult to get back to the same standard you have before the camp.

Screwed-up school, nothing to say.
Just live with it, this is huayi.
Let's all just jiayous for SYF, no matter what, HUAYI CONCERT BAND must MAINTAIN SILVER! (though really hoping for a GOLD!)

I have said that i wouldn't posting.

But i need to vent out this thing here seriously.

Feel so stressed and pissed off this few day and i have been keeping it in my mind.

Sick & tired of everything now.

Seriously, i don't mind you guys nag at me abit like call me go study, but sometimes i will also study until no motivation...

then how am i supposed to study and digest those things?

i also need to have time to destress, you can't expect me to study all day long.

and honestly speaking, you know i'm not the type that excelled in studies as no matter how hard i work, i will only get an average marks and being in this such a STRESSFUL competition (with triple science ppl & lots of them 's result in studies are really damn pro.) class, i don't think i will be able to make it to even a top 20.

Seriously, feel like giving up.

I don't even know why am i studying for so much?

For the sake of the 1 + year later's O Level?

For the sake of my parents?

or for the sake of myself?

Sometimes, i tell myself not to break down in front of others and i can do it.

But once i'm at home, i will think through all these things and really, i don't have any hope seeing my results now.

Many teachers (like mdm yeo) had say that our result will not be very good at the beginning of the sec 3 year, but i know my result for the whole year, will be super lousy then resulting in parent scolding and their disappointment.

Looks like i'm not ready to accept sec 3 hard life and i don't even have the strength to get ready anymore.

Hope totally crushed and i really feel scared for the soon (cos time pass so fast and next thing, i might not even promote to sec 4 or maybe can.) O level.

Maybe i think too much or what, but ...

I always say i want to work hard in various subjects but it seems like i can't do it always.

No matter how much effort i put in, i still cannot understand and sometimes i really feel so fed up.

Though sometimes i look happy or like nothing happened, but in the actual fact, i feel so tense up and try to cover it by my crazy actions or what.

It's not like i don't have the stress, but i just try to cover it as much as i can...

Feel like breaking down at some moment of lessons but i just feel so tired without enough sleep time everyday and sleep myself to hide the truth.

I know i'm like being...

i have no difficulties in life (like need to work part-time for family or what) but studies enough can make me so depressed.

and with recent things happening, i seriously don't know what to do.

I know you guys are sometimes sick and tired of some people's attitude or really like don't like it.

But, do you know that seniors us are actually alrdy so tired about all these arguments ( i would like to say it's lame but i can't say it since some people's view are different.) and with those attitude some of your showed, it's so ....

I really don't know what to say anymore since i know even if i say/scold all these things, you guys still wouldn't listen.

Maybe it's our fault as we also set a bad role model for you guys.

but, during sectional, we will still be serious at times when we're playing or being tested.

The times when i was in sec 1 was even hardcore than now, which now i don't know why we are seated during sectional? (usually, we're supposed to stand up during sectional since from our time, we are always standing up when sectional.)

Sometimes, is it really the seniors and our fault that juniors are being disrespectful to us?

Maybe we seniors should really start to improve ourselves to show a better role model to the juniors and how should a junior treat seniors.

though we often like playing with the seniors (looks like we're not respecting them like that..)

SIGH, seriously, i hope everything will be fine.

Work hard for SYF and be more bonded, we're ONE BAND!

STRESSED

I shall be on hiatus for the whole year.
