OMG, PERSIS?

Today was an epic day, HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY TO EVERY TEACHER!
All the teachers that taught me in Primary school... Mr choo, 张老师, Mr tang, Ms Yanti etc...
Current teachers : 郑老师, Ms chia, ms leyana, Ms Vanessa chua (mrs tan) , Mrs Chen, Mr Jeremiah lim (LOL JELLY!) etc~
Didn't give them any presents, anyway teachers' wishes are to make sure their student can do well in studies right?! so no need presents mahh~ LOL (joking~)

Today , teachers' day performance was quite nice....
esp the skit done by ELDDS & SCs (mostly our class! is like half of our class~)
GAVIN WAS SUPER DUPER FUNNY!!!
Hanna, Amy, Dahlia and Hakanah did a great job~ ^^
Xinyi act as the 'gangster', fierce! but i see her 偷笑~
Theon as the justin bieber , okay i can only say a cool hairstyle? LOL! 
haha, and the boys' generation (i first tot they are going to dance SNSD 's songs, cos' it's BOY'S GENERATION) danced Bonamana! one guy do that magic rose thingy (Fishy hae 's part lol~)
They danced is already quite good (cos' i saw a more worse than them derh ver. LOL) *failed english*
and one guy moonwalk! wow~ ^^ 

Band was quite good, Lois, Liyu, Thundar, me and others guys camped outside band room lol~
Waiting for the key to come actually....
okay, today was quite okay just that i can't double tongue quite well =X
Have to improve, and hope juniors can really played ride at the end of october or beginning of Nov?

Mr Tan said he's going to let us play 'PERSIS' ?!
OMGG, is this true? he last time say he let us play 'and then the ocean glows' but he didn't give us the score...
And today, just saw him bring 'Armenian dance' score! lol...
So many hard pieces~~
But don't think i can deal with so many... esp running notes, this is the part i'm really scared of.
plus intonation too... and scared there's some time signature (esp cut common time! i got confused with common time..) changing and making me confused, counting wrong bars... (why does it sounds like i will do all these when i'm playing postcard from singapore?)
But it's going to be a nice try =D

After band, chiongg back my home to change clothes plus printing things with chiaowen (but in the end, didn't even use it =X)
We chiong to bugis and at the MRT, was trying to recall the way to NAFA campus 3...
Luckily, we managed to chiong to there and we are quite early =D

At first, chiaowen and I were damn scared that we might FALL ASLEEP lol!
Cos' it's orchestra and it's all those strings music (I'm not anti-string instruments person LOL!) and SLOW (?)
i don't know, but symphony orchestra first give me an impression of playing slow music and those classical etc..
However, after this concert, this quite change my impression of it...
I loved the orchestra version of Rhapsody in blues with piano~
and clarinet 's trilling & glissando were seriously nice! that guy who is playing is damn pro!
there's quite alot of woodwinds & brass instruments solo (they mostly have the lesser parts in orchestra music but when they have the parts, mostly are solos/soli *that is quite obvious in the music* like oboe,flute,clarinet,bassoon,english horn etc.)
That guy who played oboe is damn pro too~~ he's like never breathe, phrasing -thumbs up-
Lois should go listen, seriously! He played very loud, but can soft but still can hear abit of oboe sound~

I love the last piece they played too - The four movement from modern times - Charlie chaplin
The duets between Piccolo & oboe (got another instrument just that i forget...)
trombone & tuba got stand up for one/two notes...

First piece - Overture to the Barber of Seviller-G.Rossini was not bad, but i think third piece- Vocalise-S. Rachmaninoff was nice too~
Not much comment on String instruments, since i don't play string instrument although i would like to learn it. (violin/cello is cool in my own opinion, but dun think mum will ever let me try it..)

Shall end here.. was a enjoyable concert for me, and chiaowen and I learned something from it. (BEING MOTIVATED TO PRACTICE MORE!!!)

P.S String bass is cool =) the bass sound adding in has more rounder sound... but our band will never have it maybe, we don't even have enough members in the band now =X
