Pirate's Dream!

My arms were going to break while carrying a stack of books plus my clarinet, walking back home...
But i'm not worst than lixuan who carry a stack of books (somemore plus files? -.-) and her bass clarinet~~
Thank godness, she don't walk back home!

The last day of school, september holiday starts!
one week, i'm going chiong studies, doing maths... reading storybook!
Wouldn't have time for twitter/ blogging/ facebook-ing/ whatever related to LAPTOP!
Today was the last day of Mr Jeremiah Lim (JELLY!), he gave us chocolates~
let us again see the the Boys' generation performance @ teachers' day performance!
Okay, someone posted it on youtube lol.

Anyway, today we didn't played the piece that we 期待 for so long - Persis, but we played Pirate's Dream!
Okay, my sight-reading is damn bad, chromatic scales i also don't even know? (but seriously, the score half a page chromatic all the way liao, then the time signature got 6/8 *which i hated so much counting that* )
Quite nice, lots of changing of atmosphere in the song -.- it's like a story... haha~
I like the slow part, one of the oboe solo~
Seriously, oboe solo was is quite crazy (1st clar got the cue part of oboe solo~ the moment we saw it, OMGG! then look at lois LOL~)
After we played for second time, seems that everybody was relieved that we finally finished playing it... LOL
But sounds BAD! Going to practice all those chromatic scales etc tml... (in addition of double tonguing)
I wonder if we get the Persis score, can we even play all those running notes? cos' Mr tan say Persis 's running notes is very weird kind? lol...
But comparing with Persis & Pirate's Dream, Pirate's dream sounds harder as the beginning, the trumpets & trombones are quite messy and others (we) don't know how to come in.... while Persis, i can know what's the melody at the beginning there..

Anyway, we managed to finish it off, but lots of parts are damn messy...
reminds me of when i'm in sec one, playing the seventh night of july with seniors (forget what's the reason why mr tan let us try...) of course, i lost at the running notes part (woodwinds running note, clearly rmb piccolo's running notes are like so crazy...)

Woo, buffet @ Jeremiah Lim (JELLY) 's house there on 6 sep, of course, it's not free.. -.-
Last chinese project presentation today, yesterday is totally chionging the chinese tour guide thingy, barely had 7 hours of sleeping!

I love the trombone soli part (think so... sounds like whole section?) too, plus the slow solo of oboe~~ =D
