memories.

sometimes, i love to listen to band pieces, randomly (clicking) in youtube.
some pieces played before, really gives back memories yeah.
like Philip sparke's music, music for festival, invictus, earth,water,fire,wind, orient express (everybody play until sian liao hahhaha) and moreee
and also samuel R. hazo's pieces, sevens, ride (hm nostalgic, :) now listening to other band, i can only tahan the full speed one, slower one i will just cross... for some reason, it's not full speed xD)
basically, i'm influenced by mr tan haha, and some standard band pieces, like festival variations - claude  Smith, El camino real, armenian dances (basically... heard so many band play before yeah, but armenian dances not much i guess, but it's really (Y) )
and noah's ark, jericho by bert appermont, heh played saga candida - bert appermont with SP band, well, typical piece  of his work but quite nice lah :))
okay i sounds like a band geek, hah but yeah used to be ah, or now still is.... (but at least now i'm more exposed to classical music (orchestra) and jazz stuffs, contemporary music etc.
but hey, band is fun :) i believe people who continue to join band etc would say that, if not why would u continue? :)

but you guys may say i'm band geek or what, but i really love playing in the band. Few days without band practice, seems so abnormal for me :( like last week, from thurs to sunday, no band ._. (since thurs... i got work T.T damn) but at least got go back huayi, but now they exam so yeah.
my holidays, are usually filled with band practices in the past, from sec 1 to sec 3/4 :)
my sec 2 ~ 3 time was the most crazy period i guess, and i rmb it's the period, minhui's batch and us were like so into band, okay wait maybe the usual people yeah :)
SUDDENLY RMB FIRST LOVE'S SOLOS, that's damn epic, joonkiat's solo hahahahha~~
and the damn disco party III, honestly speaking, I REGRET THE GIMMICKS SHIT. why did i even suggest to do that, >.<
but heng, it's a fun experience haha.

at least, my passion for band haven really change, like as usual, but i'm actually quite sad to see people stop playing in the band etc :(
sigh, one little wish of mine is to play with the seniors and rest of my batchmates, plus juniors in the band again :) (when i'm sec 2/3...)
but i guess it's hard lah, everybody so busy sigh.
and so fast, the juniors of tht period are graduating soon! saw them in this holiday, haha still seems cheerful etc, hope they can cope with it yeah! :)
and now with another batch of juniors (completely another...), only know a few people, sadly heh.
but never mind, hope got more people join and practice hard etc, and grow passion towards band. :)
people might think we're crazy, but yeah, band or rather music is really very addictive :)

sigh, conclusion, imissthem.
and there's alot of posts about my band life i just realised.
